Not guilty plea in Breward case

One of two men accused of murdering Launceston man Bradley Breward has pleaded not guilty.

41-year-old Mark Rodney Jones of West Launceston appeared videolink today in the Launceston Magistrates Court and was committed to stand trial in the Supreme Court on May 1.

Jones' co-accused, Ricky John Izard, pleaded not guilty in February and will also appear in the higher court in May.

Cody James Lee, who's charged with failing to report a killing, will reappear for a plea hearing in the Launceston Magistrates Court on March 30.

22-year-old Mr Breward of Mowbray was found dead several days after disappearing on New Year’s Eve.
