Property Council furious with C.H Smith delays

An appeal was lodged yesterday, at the eleventh hour by the Heritage Protection Society against the C.H Smith redevelopment plan.

Brian Whiteman, Executive Director of the Property Council of Tasmania, shares with Brian Carlton his disappointment with the appeal, which will stifle the developments for approximately three months.

"The message that it sends to...investors in Tasmania, [is] that it's just too difficult," Mr. Whiteman says.
