Groom says Tasmania's hydro will play an important role in mainland energy solution

Matthew Groom, in his roles as Minister for Environment, Parks, and Heritage, and Minister for Energy, speaks with Brian Carlton, respectively discussing the penalties for Aboriginal relics, and our state's energy future.

Mr. Groom claims Tasmania's hydro has an important role to play in solving the chaos of the National Energy Market.

"Hydro is the best form of electricity generation known to man, and we've got an extraordinary advantage here in Tasmania," Mr. Groom says.
