New Labor Leader Rebecca White addresses her critics and talks policies

Newly minted state Labor Leader Rebecca White is confident that, despite concerns about her age and family life, she is the best person to lead the party.

“I was always ready to take it on if it was presented to me," Ms. White says.

“I certainly feel like I’ve got enough experience, I’ve been in parliament seven years now, so I'm not new to the job,"

"Over the last three years I've been given a lot of responsibility...so I certainly feel ready,”

Ms. White speaks to Brian Carlton about how she plans to take on the role of Leader, and also discusses various Labor policies including TasWater, the salmon industry and majority government.
