Do you think that the Mersey Community Hospital needs a $1.5million helipad?

The State Government believe so, with the proposed helipad to be funded by the $730 million grant for the Mersey from the Federal Government.

Yet the Mersey Community Hospital Support Group are not supportive of this infrastructure, believing the money could be better spent on other areas of the hospital.

Mayor of Devonport and Chairman of the Mersey Community Hospital Support Group, Steve Martin, speaks to Brian Carlton about the Support Group's concerns.
