We are being warned to have our umbrellas at the ready as wet weather approaches Tasmania tomorrow.
Lizzie Donovan from the Bureau of Meteorology says northern Tasmania is looking soggy, with Launceston expected to cop 20 millimetres of rain.
"We are now expected some rain of between 15 to 20 millimetres across the north and northwest tomorrow, and right across into Launceston."
She says the cold front will provide the west coast a share of the rain.
"The west is looking like around 25 millimetres of rain, but not much more than that."
Meanwhile, it's been a bumper start to the ski season in the Australian Alps on the weekend, considered the best since 2002.
Favourite mainland snow fields have quality cover after a series of blizzards.
It's not the same scenario for Tasmania's premier field, the word from Ben Lomond is it's still too warm and it's some time away from a start to the season.
