A man is dead after a fatal crash on the Tasman Highway around 15 kilometres west of Scottsdale.
Police found the 24-year-old in his vehicle around 8:50 pm on Tuesday.
He had apparently lost control and hit trees on a right-hand bend.
Despite the best efforts of Ambulance Tasmania he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police haven't released the make and model; it takes the state's road toll to 27 for the year.
