One of the people accused of killing Launceston teenager Billy Ray Waters has pleaded not guilty.
Christopher Leigh Brown was remanded in custody after his brief appearance at the Launceston Magistrates Court this morning.
The 33-year-old will now front the Launceston Supreme Court on October 14 where he'll be tried.
Two 17-year-old boys who can't be named are also charged with murdering Mr Waters who went missing earlier this month.
All of the alleged offenders were apparently known to the victim.
A body discovered in bushland near Mayfield last week has now officially been confirmed as that of the missing 19-year-old.
Reports of screaming and gunshots in the area on Ausgust 4, the night Billy was last seen, are still being investigated by police who haven't ruled out charging others.
