A man, who was last year found to be responsible for the death of his own baby four years ago, has been found guilty of assaulting his wife in 2019.
40-year-old Gaurav Endlay appeared in the Launceston Magistrates Court on Thursday where he was found guilty of the September 30 assault. The court heard he choked his wife, while sitting on either her chest or stomach, and guilty of emotional abuse or intimidation.
He was acquitted of a second assault charge.
Endlay will remain in custody until sentencing next month.
Last year he was convicted of assaulting his former wife and the mother of baby Charlotte Lukendlay who died in February, 2016.
