Police are warning drug traffickers they'll be caught sooner or later, after making two arrests in suburban Hobart over the weekend.
It's alleged a 47-year-old Kingston man and a 23-year-old woman were nabbed at Lenah Valley carrying traffickable quantities of methylamphetamine.
Police gave chase after spotting a vehicle with mismatched plates at North Hobart around midnight on Saturday.
"Through a coordinated approach by police from Hobart and Glenorchy Stations the vehicle was seen travelling into a side street, where the quick actions by police resulted in both the female driver and male passenger being safely arrested," said Inspector Brian Edmonds.
"The pair was searched at the scene and found with a traffickable quantity of the drug ICE."
The pair are out on conditional bail and will face court at a later date.
