Police are continuing to investigate a significant number of vehicles which had their tyres slashed overnight last Thursday and early Friday in West Hobart.
A total of 36 separate vehicles had tyres destroyed in the areas of Browne, Lochner, Pine and Hamilton Streets, with the incident been described as “unusual” and “very uncommon” for the low-crime West Hobart area.
Police are sourcing CCTV footage in an attempt to find the culprit.
Anyone with information in relation to the damage, suspicious activity, or CCTV of the area, is asked to contact Hobart CIB on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers anonymously on 1800 333 000.
