A Hobart man accused of child sex offences will stand trial in November.
The 64-year-old, who can’t be named for legal reasons, has pleaded not guilty to two counts of persistent sexual abuse of a child.
Both charges span across four year periods: one in Glenorchy between April 2016 and July 2020, the other between 2015 and 2019 in locations including Glenorchy, Ulverstone, Derwent Bridge and even Melbourne.
The man fronted Magistrate Jackie Hartnett on Thursday morning, who offically escalated the matter to the Supreme Court of Tasmania for preliminary proceedings.
A trial is set down to begin on November 15th at 10:00am.
