With another 1,379 new covid infections recorded in the 24 hours prior to 8pm on Monday January 10, Tasmania now has 8,356 active covid cases.
364 new cases were recorded by PCR tests (out of 2,384 lab PCR tests) - 1,015 self reported via rapid antigen tests - more than 12,000 RATs distributed across state clinics and distribution centres.
891 people were released from isolation.
18 people are currently being treated in hospital acvross the state - 7 specifically for their covid symptoms, 11 for other medical conditions.
Tasmania currently has a double dose vaccination rate for those aged 12+ of 93.1%
