Tasmania recorded another 1,100 covid cases in the last 24 hour reporting period - but the net number of active cases has decreased.
253 new cases were confirmed out of 2,421 PCR tests - and 847 cases were self reported from rapid antigen tests.
More than 15,000 RATs were handed out across the state's various centres.
1,895 people were released out of isolation in the last 24 hour period.
871 cases are active in the North West, 1,814 in the North and 4,745 in the South.
There are 23 people with covid in the state's hospitals - 10 are being treated just for their symptoms.
21.8% of those aged 18 and over have had their booster shot so far.
