Two people have been charged with drug offences after a traffic stop in the Northern Midlands area.
Tasmania Police stopped a reportedly unregistered vehicle at around 11.20pm on Thursday night.
The 27 year old driver is accused of producing a positive result to a Random Breath Test and an Oral Fluid Test.
The Drug Dog Detection Unit screened the vehicle, allegedly finding 112 grams of cocaine.
The seized cocaine is worth $40,000.
Both occupants of the vehicle have been arrested and charged with trafficking in a controlled substance along with minor drug offences.
The New Norfolk driver has also been charged with traffic offences.
Both have been bailed to face the Launceston Magistrates Court late next month.
