It is a night of willingly sleeping rough across Tasmania for those participating in the Vinnies Community Sleepout.
The fundraiser evolved out of the CEO Sleepout to be more inclusive.
The chilliest will be for those in Launceston with an overnight low of 5℃, while it'll dip to 7℃ in Burnie, Devonport and Hobart.
Incoming CEO of St Vincent De Paul Heather Kent will be one of those struggling to catch some shut-eye.
"I am going to be gathering together with a group of friends and we're sleeping on the floor of a pretty cold room, if we look around the community we can see that sleeping rough does mean sleeping in a tent, I know for those down in Hobart many are aware of the growing tent community on the Southern Outlet, but for some it means being in a caravan, couch surfing moving around from home to home not actually having your own place of peace and solace."
