Instead of joining the majors, Neroli Ellis chooses Independence

State Secretary of the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation (ANMF), Neroli Ellis has made the decision to put her hand up for the Legislative Council seat of Launceston.

Joining Brian Carlton in the Tasmania Talks studio, Ms. Ellis explains why she is determined to run as an independent.

"It's much more powerful being Independent, because you can actually not be tucked into political positioning, and determine the best position for the outcomes you want," Ms. Ellis says.
