Tourism targets will be smashed - How do we manage the influx?

Tassie's tourism is exceeding expectations, with visitor numbers up by 11% across regional Tasmania.

Chris Griffin, CEO of Northern Tasmanian Tourism, joins Brian Carlton, discussing how the industry plans to manage the increase in visitors.

"Our infrastructure wasn't designed for this volume, so as [it] increases, you need to look at an intelligent 10 or 20 year plan on how you actually introduce infrastructure at the right places, where you can handle volume," Mr. Griffin says.
