Potential astronaut prepares for life on Mars

Josh Richards wants to head to Mars and never come back.

The comedian, physicist, author and former soldier has been short-listed in the top 100 candidates in the Mars One mission, and will find out next year if he's made the top 24.

Brian Carlton talks to potential astronaut Josh Richards about the challenges of everyday life when contemplating a one way mission.

Josh's book Becoming Martian, will be released next week on August 12th.
