With the future of agricultural shows a hot topic in our state at the moment, many Tasmanians have thoughts on why our shows aren't as successful as they once were.

As part of 'Your Thoughts Thursday' Tasmania Talks listeners call in to speak with Brian Carlton about the issue.

Numerous listeners who attended their local show weigh in on the conversation by sharing the excessive amounts they spent in just a small period of time.

What are your thoughts? Are our local shows too expensive? What should be done to improve the future of Tasmanian shows?
