The rise of prices at Montagu Park Recreation Reserve has caused concern and outrage in the North-West and Circular Head communities, with many wondering what the council is offering for these rising costs.

Mayor of Circular Head Council, Daryl Quilliam, speaks with Brian Carlton this morning on the issue, saying that the park is haemorrhaging around $45,000 a year.

Mayor Quilliam did admit, however, that the community was not consulted on their views regarding the price rise, and that may have been a mistake.
