Tasmania is set to receive its very own dive wreck off the coast St Helens by the end of 2019.

Tasmanian Nationals Senator Steve Martin announced yesterday he has managed to secure the HMAS Darwin to be scuttled in Skeleton Bay.

Dive operator Peter Paulsen has been advocating for a number of years to get a dive wreck for Tasmania, and is excited to see his hard work finally paying off.

Off the back of a bittersweet chat with the mother of a man who was lost at sea whilst serving on the HMAS Darwin, both Senator Martin and Mr Paulsen join Brian Carlton to discuss what this long-awaited news means for our state.
