On Tuesday, Brian Carlton spoke to Kelsey Ford, who had just lost everything in a house fire. She and her partner Tyler currently have a 9-month-old baby, with another one due in just seven weeks.
Matt Dingjan, Owner/Operator of Launceston Environmental Services, heard the interview and just couldn’t imagine what it would be like to lose everything you own, particularly at such a critical time.
After putting up a Facebook post, Matt was inundated with donations for Kelsey, and will be driving a van up to Burnie tomorrow full of household items for the family.
Listen to Matt and Brian discuss the generosity of Launceston residents below.
