It’s time for the AFL to ‘pony up’ on funding for a Tasmanian AFL team, according to Nationals Senator for Tasmania Steve Martin.

Senator Martin weighs in on the AFL debate after the federal Liberal party said they would not match Labor’s pledge of $25 million for a Tas AFL team.

Federal Labor have pledged $25 million to support a Tasmanian AFL team, and Federal Liberals say that the money would be better spent elsewhere. Do you think taxpayers should be funding a Tasmanian AFL team?

Senator Martin and retiring Nationals Senator for NSW, John ‘Wacka’ Williams, join Brian Carlton in the studio this morning for a wide-ranging conversation on AFL, expenses, Barnaby Joyce, the current election and more.
