10 year old Amy Bracken, of Launceston, has been encouraged to reach for the stars as she prepares to participate in the BMX World Championship in Belgium at the end of July.
However trips to Belgium do not come cheap, and Amy’s family have started a Go Fund Me page to raise $1000 for Amy to head to the championship.
This morning Susan from Launceston, a friend of the family, calls in to tell Rick Fontyn about the fundraiser and Amy’s goals.
There will be a morning tea and fundraising event held at the Invermay Bowls Club this Sunday from 10am – 3pm. If you are a business and would like to donate a raffle prize, please get in touch with Tasmania Talk.
