Declining cycle numbers due to lack of safe places to ride - Bicycle Network talks North East Rail Trail

Yesterday, Brian Carlton heard from Stuart Bryce, Chairman of North East Residents and Farmers Inc, who believes the main focus of the North East rail corridor redevelopment should be a heritage rail, as cycling numbers are reportedly declining.

This morning, Alison Hetherington, Public Affairs Manager for the Bicycle Network of Tasmania, joins Brian to discuss these figures, which she claims are due to a lack of safe places to ride - which the Rail Trail would provide.
