The Australian Medical Association (AMA) in Tasmania is calling for a complete overhaul of our state’s health system.

Dr John Davis, Vice President of AMA Tasmania, says the system needs to be ‘redesigned and more appropriately funded’ to ensure adequate health care is delivered into the future all over our state, including rural and regional areas.

Listen as Dr Davis joins Martin Agatyn to discuss the issue, claiming that the time to act is now, and if something isn’t done soon, ‘we’re going to struggle to cope’.
