The Pharmacy Guild of Tasmania is calling for pharmacists to be able to offer more health services, in hopes of reducing pressure on hospitals and GPs.

John Dowling, President of the Pharmacy Guild of Tasmania, says a lot of patients are clogging up these services with minor things which could be adequately dealt with by a pharmacist.

Listen as John joins Martin Agatyn on Tasmania Talks to discuss the calls, and why patients in non-emergency situations should make their first stop the local pharmacy.
