Ride safe campaign aiming to reduce quad bike fatalities

QUAD BIKE

Over the past eight years, 128 Australians have died due to incidents involving a quad bike, with 73 of those due to riders not wearing helmets.

That's why Safe Farming and Worksafe Tasmania have launched their Quad Bike Safety Campaign, which aims to make bike operators aware of the dangers, and encourage owners to install roll over protection.

Listen as Phillip John, Safe Farming Senior Health & Safety Consultant, joins Martin Agatyn to discuss the campaign, and some of the risks involved with operating a quad bike.
