The State Government will table a bill in Parliament next month, making amendments to gag laws which currently prevent sexual assault victims from speaking out under their own names.

Nina Funnell, the journalist who has been pushing for this through the ‘Let Her Speak’ campaign, says the overhaul is important to give victims back their voices, and educate the public on the impact of these incidents.

Listen as Nina joins Aaron Stevens on Tasmania Talks to discuss the changes, sharing how speaking out has affected her as a survivor.
