After spending over 14 days in quarantine on the Diamond Princess cruise ship, Australian passengers are hoping today’s the day they will get to come home.

The ship and its 3600 passengers and crew have been anchored in Yokohama, Japan since late January, after a coronavirus outbreak on-board the ship.

One of the 220+ Australians on the ship is Launceston resident Alana Hoskinson (pictured above on right), who has been confined to her 3x3m cabin (pictured below) for the last two weeks, with her travel mate, Diana (pictured above on left).

Joining Martin Agatyn live from on-board the Diamond Princess, Alana shares details of the experience.
