Currently in Tasmania, if you drive a vehicle with a blood alcohol level of over 0.05%, you are breaking the law.
With recent drink driving incidents on the mainland causing concern across the nation, this week’s Think Tank Thursday question is: Should the legal alcohol driving limit be reduced to zero?
Listen as Aaron is joined by the following guests as they weigh in on the topic.
- Senior Sergeant Jason Jones from Tasmania Police
- Alison Lai, CEO of the Alcohol, Tobacco & Other Drugs Council of Tasmania
- Stacey Pennicott, RACT General Manager, Membership and Community
Tasmania Talks listeners also call in throughout the hour to share their views on whether the legal limit needs to be reduced here in Tassie.
