Earlier in the week, Aaron Stevens heard from Paul, a Launceston-based taxi operator struggling to compete with Uber.

Paul was calling for the State Government to pay compensation to cab drivers, with many now in the same boat as him, working two jobs and struggling to make ends meet.

This morning, Minister for Infrastructure and Transport, Michael Ferguson, joins Aaron on Tasmania Talks to respond to Paul’s concerns.

Off the back of Aaron's chat with Minister Ferguson, Tasmania Talks listeners call in to share their thoughts on the issue.
