CHECK IN TAS

Changes were made to the Tasmanian Government’s coronavirus contact tracing app, Check In TAS on July 7, with all Tasmanians now required to check in to any business or venue they attend, regardless of how long they’ll be there.

The types of businesses required to use the Check In TAS app will also be expanded from July 31, with a number of locations, including retail premises, accommodation, and more, to be included.

Tasmania Talks has heard numerous reports from members of the community who are experiencing confusion around the app, how and when it should be used, and whether their information is secure.

Listen as Health Department Secretary Kathrine Morgan-Wicks joins Mike O’Loughlin to provide some clarity about Check In TAS, and to answer the burning questions of Tasmania Talks listeners.
